What is Permanent Makeup ?

Cosmetic permanent makeup is a process whereby color pigments are inserted into the dermalk layer of the skin to create a soft, natural look. These colored pigments are specially formulated and designed for each individuals skin tone and desired color.

Permanent Makeup creates a lasting cosmetic effect. This procedure is a sophisticated micro-procedure known as cosmetic tattooing.

What are the pigments used in Micro Pigmentation?
The pigments are natural pigments and iron oxide so the chances are little to none for an allergic reaction.

How permanent is this procedure?
Aftercare and skin type determines the lasting visual results. Fading may occur and a refresher color application may be desired after several or more years. The procedure take about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Is it Safe ?

Strict sanitation and sterilization guide lines are followed.

Disposable supplies and needle are used for each procedure. A prescription of Zoviraz is essential for those with a history of cold sores when considering a permanent lip color. A patch test is available for those concerned and is done at least 1 week before scheduled procedure is done. There are no known allergic reactions to the pigments but few cases have been reported from red colors. There can be allergic reactions to the cains used in the topicals.

Can I Tell in advance what shape or color will suit me?
Yes. All shaping and color selections are done in advance with your approval before application is started.

Does it hurt?
There is slight discomfort, but it's worth it. In most cases, discomfort is at a minimum. With the use of extremely effective topical anesthetics, we can provide near total numbing of the area.

What can I expect following the procedure ?

What can I expect following the procedure?
There may be some minor bruising and/or swelling for up to three days. Applying a cold compresses on the area for several hours after the procedure will help in reducing the swelling.

How many touch-ups are required for the desired results?
Most people need one to two touch-ups for their desired results. In may instances there is no need for a touch-up at all.

Can you get laser work done after permanent makeup?
You need to inform your doctor so that he covers the tattooed area. Lasers can burn the pigment and change the color to black. Be especially careful if you have had a lip procedure.

Also, collagen and lip permanent makeup do not work well together. Inform your doctor before proceeding with collagen injections or laser surgery.
